Description
The holiest part of the Monastery of “Giatrissa” and the priceless treasure of the Sacred Icon of the Virgin Mary. It is small in size, 51×35 points and old, as the current situation. It is hagiographic, onto hardwood chestnut, the great scene of the Nativity of Mary. The whole image is covered with a sheet of silver. Coated with silver across the front surface and show only Faces of Theopatoron, Joachim and Anne, Infant Mary and three other women.
