Elder Paisios of Mount Athos
Life and Ministry: Born in 1924 in Cappadocia, Paisios Eznepidis and his family relocated to Greece due to the population exchange. He became a monk on Mount Athos and lived a life of intense prayer, simplicity, and spiritual guidance.
Spiritual Gifts: Known for his wisdom, prophetic insight, and healing abilities, Elder Paisios was sought out by countless people for his advice and prayers. He stressed the importance of repentance, humility, and reliance on God’s will.
Legacy: Elder Paisios was canonized as a saint in 2015, and his feast day is celebrated on July 12.

Elder Porphyrios of Kafsokalivia
Life and Ministry: Born in 1906 in Evia, Greece, Evangelos Bairaktaris became a monk at Mount Athos at a very young age. He later served as a spiritual father in Athens, ministering to the faithful with love and discernment.
Spiritual Gifts: Elder Porphyrios possessed remarkable spiritual gifts, such as clairvoyance and healing, and emphasized the transformative power of Christ’s love. He encouraged Christians to approach God with joy and trust rather than fear.
Legacy: He was canonized in 2013, and his feast day is celebrated on December 2.

Elder Iakovos Tsalikis
Life and Ministry: Born in 1920 in Asia Minor, Iakovos Tsalikis and his family settled in Greece as refugees. He became a monk and later the abbot of the Monastery of Saint David in Evia. His life was marked by deep humility, self-sacrifice, and love for others.
Spiritual Gifts: Known for his miracles and compassion, Elder Iakovos was a source of spiritual comfort and strength for those who visited him. He often demonstrated profound Christ-like forgiveness and patience.
Legacy: Canonized in 2017, his feast day is celebrated on November 22.
