Saint Eudoxia was the daughter of Agia Athanasia and was martyred during the persecutions of Emperor Diocletian. Agia was arrested together with her mother and her sisters, Theodotis and Theoktistis. The ruler of the region subjected them to horrible tortures but these women remained steadfast in their Christian faith.Saint Eudoxia was martyred by beheading in the year 292 AD. Saints Kyros and John of Anargyri were tortured and beheaded with her. Their memory is honored by the Orthodox Christian Church on January 31 of each year.
