Description

Agios Fokas lived in the early 2nd century, during the reign of Emperor Trajan (98-117). They came from Sinope of Pontus. His father Pamphylia (naval architect by profession) and his mother Mary, passed from his childhood flame hot and pure faith and their great piety. Agios Fokas, a small child was immersed in reading the Scriptures and what particularly distinguished him was the warm and sincere love they had for God, and to his fellow men. Why drive to the love she always had the inspired words of the Bible, which says: “He who loves his brother abides in the spiritual and moral light. While he who hates his brother abides in the spiritual and moral darkness. ”
