Description

In these women the Blessed Life, written by Theodoret of Cyrus in Philotheos History.
The booklets Marana and Kyra came from Veria (current Aleppo) Syria and lived in the early 5th century AD Their origin was formal and polite, not proportional and their education. Their dedication was pointing to the spiritual life and hesychast life. This left the world and built out of town surrounding wall of stone and served there in the spiritual struggle. The door of the enclosure closed with the clay, not to enter no to him and only left a small box, to communicate with them out and take their food. They exercised in silence and brought the hands, feet, neck and waist irons to be dead body and overcome temptations.
The wishful thinking brought them to the Holy Land and in the church of St. Thecla in Isauria, where spiritually returned closer to their hermitage and continued with humility and charity their lives. So they lived, slept in peace and surrendered their souls to the Bridegroom Christ.
The Saint Basil the Confessor, lived and worked for Empire Leo III the Isaurian (717-741 AD) of the iconoclast.
From an early age, Basil left the worldly life to devote himself to the Gospel teaching and exercise. Originally lived in a hermitage nourishing his spirit and soul with gifts of faith and love. He became a disciple and slave of Saint Procopius of Decapolis (commemorated February 27). But when the circumstances called him, he responded with admirable willingness and defended Orthodoxy with courage and boldness. He chased hard on the stiff resistance and courageous advocacy of orthodoxy. Imprisoned and suffered many tortures.
When the tyrant Leo died, Saint Basil was released and returned to his hermitage to continue their lonely struggles.
Great fighter Church constantly troops to strengthen the Orthodox faith, to the exclusion of heretics, for fastening of the faithful and the repentance of sinners. So osiaki contestant reposed in peace.
