Description
The Holy Ten Martyrs lived in Crete in the 3rd century AD Of these, although Theodoulos, Satorninos, Affluent, and Gelasius Evnikianos, was Gortynia Crete. The Habitat, from Knossos. The Agathopous port Panourmou. The Vassiliadis (or Basilides) from Kydonia. The pleasing and Movios (or Pompios, or Pontius) from Heraklion. All were martyred in the 3rd century AD, when it was emperor Decius. All ten very earnestly worked to spread the Gospel to the island. They reported the Governor of Crete, which was synonymous with the emperor, called that he too Decius. The provincial governor, when he saw the flourishing their youth and their masculine stature, tried to lure them with promises many worldly pleasures and pleasures. But when he saw that nothing succeed, ordered the lashing, and then stoned them.
